(I'll follow up on this more when I can get some details out of Woody himself...) When restoring my '80 8, I seem to recall Woody Cooper mentioning that the heavy bumper was for 8 convertibles only, to temper some float and sway at the high speeds the V8 allowed. This was true only for the convertible. It certainly wouldn't surprise me to find some of these bumpers on 7's and FHC's... -Peter |
