I've been quietly reading the wonderful bodge stories, and I have
enjoyed them all.

Thing is, one mans bodge is anothers repair.

For instance, that one story about the fuel tank and squeeze
bulb fuel pump hit home.

When the fuel pump on my beloved TR-3 gave up the ghost I replaced
it with a cheap after market electric pump and fuel filter.
The one thing I really missed was that little primer handle
that let up manually pump the fuel on the original pump.
The solution was to put one of those little marine squeeze bulb
pumps in the line just before the carbs. Its great and makes it
really easy to get the car started after a long stint in the
garage.

Is this a bodge? Maybe! But I prefer to thing of it as a valuable
optional accessory. ;-)

Oh, and what about my thermostat housing thats mostly made out of
JB weld? Bodge? or Availble replacement aftermarket part?

I could go on and on...
Guess my idea is to keep it on the road, where it is fun to drive.
Don't much care what it looks like.
