For those that are interested, I think the electric water pump is a sensible
and economic alternative, I am using them on the V8 MGB's that I am
building, and have them available on the shelf. The current controller
varies the voltage to the water pump depending upon engine temperature, so
the power used varies, also the thermostat is dispensed with making the
whole system simpler and more reliable.
I can submit more technical information for those that are interested.
