Since you asked ... I have had great success selling a cover cut for a 280Z 
to owners of cars like ours.  They are made of Tyvek, a polymer and therefore 
water resistant, breathe and will not pass dust.
They retail at $69 to $89 but since I have 80 of them I sell them for $25.
The roadster is 12.97 feet long and the cover is 14.09 feet.  Drawstrings 
take up the slack.
Not a perfect fit but cheap and great protection.
