You're right that it might hold the remover and you have to be very,
very careful to get all the stripper off of everything or your paint
will bubble off later. The same is true when you get your car dipped to
remove the paint as the stripper remains in all sorts of places and
usually raises its ugly head several months later, plus all the seam
sealer is gone and you can't always reach some of the areas to replace
it. From what I read, restoration specialists hate to have their cars
dipped for the above reasons.

I had my car bead blasted inside and out and they came to me w/ a tent.
Cost was $500 but worth it. I didn't have to mess w/chemicals or
anything except a vacuum cleaner.

Michael

Someone suggested that it may take up paint stripper and hold it to
cause a
problem later so I spent another day stripping it off. The Jasco etch
and
converter is on it now overnight and I'll paint tomorrow (It's 73 in
Orange
Co., CA)
