Can't find too much to argue about on the list this morning. I've read a lot
of good opinionated responses discussing the dreaded 'Two Listed Monster'. All
have valid points. The best one was from Andrew about how great it is to have a
place that provides so much information from so many sources so quickly! Maybe
I liked it because instead of moaning about the evils of the Two Listed Monster,
Andrew told us what he likes about the list he monitors. Cool!
The other thing I noticed this morning was more talk about a national event
that I have seen in the last three years. And I think if I was to go back
through Chris Luers's letters, that's what he wanted to accomplish; discussion
of a national event. Okay, so it started out as "lets organize the east coast
clubs". And please stop yelling at Chris. He did NOT start the second list,
nor did he start this latest campaign to organize the east coast. He is merely
showing his support of the idea and as president of OROC, letting the list know
that as a club, OROC is ready to help. As for breaking off the east coast from
the rest of the world, ...get out your maps folks; there is no surf in Ohio!
So, how about we turn some of these creative thoughts about what's wrong with
the world of Datsuns into talking about a national registry of regional clubs
and then we'll see about where to have a National meet.

BTW, I really wish you guys would quit talking about how hard it is to travel
600 miles in a roadster. My wife and I are planning a 4 - 5 week 8000 mile tour
of the US in our 1600! Quit scaring her!!
