.30 over on a crank

Anyone had experience with running a 30 over crank. Right now we have .20
and it is needing machining, but the mechanic doesn't know if taking to 30
will reduce the dependability. If I don't have to spend 200 - 300 for a
crank, I would like to avoid it, but also, want this motor to be long running
without problems.

Comments are greatly appreciated.
