One item is the emergency brake handle and cable system mounted to the body
underside. It carries on to the frame and rear axle too. I don't know why
I missed it. Larry.

Subject: Recommendations for pulling it off

Hello All,

Sometime during the next month or so, I am going to pull the body off of the

frame on my 67 2000. At this point in the game, I have the interior out of
the car and the chrome removed. There are some minor things to to take care
of before I will be ready to lift the body off of the frame. As usual, I am
looking to the list and especially those who have gone before me to give me
some advice. So here are my questions:

Roman Rist thought it would be a good idea to leave the doors on until the
body gets to the shop. Said it would keep the body from flexing. Should I
leave them on?

Besides the obligatory 14 bolts, what other connections do I need to look
for?

It seems to me that it will take four guys to lift the body off the car.
What does the body weigh?

Thanks for any help you can give me,

Andrew Murphy
