I've cleaned up, steel wooled, polished, and even stooped to begging, but the
alumimum trim from the door bottom area still looks like.....well, you know.
There is enough corrosion and pitting on the metal that to get it out would
require sanding or grinding all the ribbing away.
Has anyone powder coated, painted, or anythinged these pieces and can pass on
the accumulated wisdom? Maybe a vendor sells these new? I haven't seen them.
