ooooh ! a hi-tech "audible speedometer" - for the driver too intent on
driving to check out those silly gauges - gotta keep yor eye on the road
y'know ! <G> (might keep those pesky deer & rabbits from committing suicide
also ! LOL)
I have the "companion accessory" - the " audio-tachometer" in my car... it's
a system that takes an induced RF frequency from the high-voltage portion of
the ignition sytem and modulates it through an amplifier, resulting in a
variable frequency analog output... the controls for the system are cleverly
integrated into the Toshiba Master ICE Control Unit, and the output device
is fitted neatly up under the dash on the passenger side in a
factory-appearing black crinkle finish case. (when not concerned with RPMs,
it will also pick up Radio Disney)
