Those are 1600 carburetors.  They shouldn't be quite identical as one
has a vacuum hose fitting underneath (on the left in your picture) and
the other shouldn't.  The vacuum fitting is on the back carb.  If they
both have it, you have two back carbs.

The spacer is the infamous fan clutch.  There is a reverse-threaded
bolt (large flat round head) screwed into the center of the water pump
shaft holding the fan clutch on.  Don't pry the fan clutch off or you
can destroy the water pump (I know, I did).
