For all:
Looks to me that the easiest way to pare weight is
takeing out the spare, and running autocross with
about 1/8 tank of gas. These two things should
take off close to 100lbs, 5% of vehicle weight.
All of it behind the rear wheels, possibly
lessoning moment of inertia and making
a spin significantly easier to steer out of.
I posted this, because I usually do this anyway, but
never realized it might actually help
significantly.
Weight is the enemy of speed!
