I have a first generation ser (92) that shifts perfectly, AFTER the 5 gear
problem was fixed. They used to pop out of 5th. I would tell nissan that
hard shifting is not acceptable and contact their
national customer service department (they should provide the #) and have
them check into the problem. Tranny additives should not be necessary on a
new car and may void the manufacturers warranty.
