Greg,
Between 115 and 125. I attached a screencap of the speadsheet - won't make
it to the list however.

find out what the formula was for calculating this. Unfortunately I do not
have Excel... so can someone tell me what speed I was traveling please...
5600-5800 rpms, 5th gear, 3.89 rear end, 14 inch tires (195/60/14). My
speedo said somewhere between 135 and 140, but not sure I can trust it.
BTW, this is NOT a brag post, but this is by far the fastest this car has
ever gone (and it was not downhill!). So much for dyno numbers. And yes, I
know this is "instant jail" speed.

could once again thank him for saving Barbie :-) Now, for those who do not
know, Barbie has been a Shasta regular for the last few years, and my main
co-pilot on these trips. She was kidnapped by some evil doers who were
leaving ranson notes in various places during the Shasta dinner banquet.
Fortunately, Captain Canada stepped in and saved the day. She was
discovered, strangely enough, in his Maple leaf shorts, er costume. She
hasn't said much to me about it, other than to tell Captain Canada to "call
me sometime." Hummmm. I'm sending her to therapy.
> Speaking of Shasta, I echo earlier posts regarding what a great job the
Modesto group did. I was particularly surprised to see the personalized
pictures of me from last years Coast in my packet... what a great touch. It
showed real caring and planning. My hat's off to you all! (and Captain
Canada).
