The Z/SX 5 spd does not have a bellhousing as such, it is cast as one piece
with the gearcase.
SO.. a bellhousing is not going to work. If it would then the roadster 5 spd
bellhousing would work.
There would have to be either:

1. A 5spd tranny out of "something" with a removable bellhousing (substitute
roadster bellhousing or your deisel truck bellhousing) OR

2. A 5spd tranny out of "something" that bolts right up to the roadster
engine.

If their is a Z/SX 5 spd with a removable bellhousing, its got to be pretty
rare. I have talked to a couple of tranny/nissan guys up here who didn't
know there was ever one made.

other than the roadster, the listings I've found for a Nissan 5 spd have
nothing till 1977!! So the roadster got a 5 spd 10 years before anything
else at Nissan did!!!???

I can forward these files on the Nissan transmissions/ratios if anyone would
like. (Thanks Mallory)

Cheers
Daryl
