Now here's a different approach.... A stretch Miata.  I doubt that there
is a top, but it is in San Diego, so whatdya need a top for?

Living in South Eastern TN, I can see the usefulness of an AC, top or not. 
He apparently doesn't own a Datsun Roadster to go with it. If he did, he may
have the time... certainly wouldn't have the money!
