I'm embarrassed to admit it here, but the licence plate for my roadster
says AGENT086. I bought my '69 2000 because when I was a kid I thought the
rusty Roadster sitting on a trailer at a neighbour's cottage down the road
was the coolest car I'd ever seen. I also liked the red Sunbeam that
Maxwell Smart drove and thought one day I'd like to have a car like that.
When I found my '69 and it turned out to be the same red colour (colour -
Canadian spelling) as Smart's Sunbeam I fulfilled two childhood dreams at
once. At the time I thought the licence plate would be funny and perhaps
make people smile, but now I feel a bit geeky with it on my car. So Craig,
if you find that bumper sticker I'll buy it off you, put it on my car, and
then I can be completely geeky :)

By the way, I understand that at the opening of the show a Karmen Ghia
appeared in later episodes, but I don't have any knowledge of Smart ever
driving a Roadster. It would be interesting to hunt down the details
behind that Nissan promotion.
