The rear hatch handle on my 411 has a similar problem. It attached with 3
machine screws, however, the female ends in the handle are stripped or
broken. My plan is gender reassignment by JB Welding machine screws into the
females and using nuts/lock washers to hold the handle to the rear hatch.

Hi Everybody,

On putting my 1969 1600 back together after painting, I have some broken
tabs on the side panel lights that are real expensive to replace or are no
longer available When faced with broken tabs that keep the light on the car
what work arounds have you used.  I thought about using a machine screw but
it does not look like there is enough metal to bite into.
