Broken Tabs

Hi Everybody,

On putting my 1969 1600 back together after painting, I have some broken tabs
on the side panel lights that are real expensive to replace or are no longer
available When faced with broken tabs that keep the light on the car what work
arounds have you used.  I thought about using a machine screw but it does not
look like there is enough metal to bite into.
