I try to keep it simple. Starting with a clean install of windows, install
the programs you typically use and download all updates. Try to set up so
that data files go on a different drive than programs and operating system.
Then use Ghost or a similar backup program an make a copy of the O/S and
programs. If a virus decides to eat the machine, break out the backup and
reload.
