No, that is two separate topics.
1. 510 master cyl metric threads:
Remove the ~1-1/8" nuts that contain the sae threads from the bottom of
the roadster master.  Remove same parts from 510 master.  Switch them.
On a 66, you have a lot more work to make room for the dual master
length.  The dual pushrod / dual cylinder set-up is commonly called a
Tilton, and is going to be some fab work to get working.

2. hard shifting:
It sounds like the pushrod from the slave cylinder to the clutch arm
needs to be adjusted (lengthened) to give you more throw.  (he should be
noticing that there is some slack between when your foot hits the pedal
and when dis-engagement happens, although you can take out that slack at
the pedal end as well)
Replacing the clutch has changed relationships, and it is a well known
fact that all successful relationships need a good whack with a 10"
cresecent wrench on occasion.....

But don't quote me on that last part.
