Grassroots recent article on V8 conversion started me thinking about a
very very long term project of converting a GT6 to V8 power, more
specifically Rover V8 power. Even though I sincerely appreciate the
advantages of the RX7 engines from racing my SCCA RX7 ITA car, I would prefer
to move along the lines of piston engine that has some claims to Triumph
Heritage.
There was an article recently about a TR3 with a V8 conversion, anyone
recall something that was published in the past about a V8 conversion in a
GT6 (or spitfire?). Perhaps one of you already has something like this
already sitting in your garage.
