I just stopped by my local tire guy to see what gives now that Yoko has
discontinued the A008R. He looked up the BFG R1 and notes that it is showing
discontinued as well! Tomorrow he's going to call them as well to see what
gives and if there is a replacement. All I've ever used is Yokos or R1s. 15"
Hoosiers start at 215/60 and I don't have wheelwell clearance for these. What
else have you raced with?
I always thought we'd run out of affordable vintage TR parts before we'd run
out of available tires. With racing TRs and Porsche 911, Z-cars, etc. I think
there would be enough demand for 195 or 205/60 series tires to warrant
continuing manufacture. What gives?
