IMHO Big mistake. There's nothing more assuring than a nice, solid brake
system. Personally I wouldn't want to drive behind a car with a home made,
brazed brake line adaptor, much less race in one.

In the long term, this is most likely what will happen.  For the short
term however, other activies preclude me from doing a complete revamping
at this time, so I'm just looking for short term (safe) solutions.
