Folks;
Given the need to test the transmitters in each car, and the fact there is
only one test device for all of Tech, we'll probably need to perform the deed
in the vicinity of the Tech shed. There may be an ability for some
accommodation outside the normal hours but we'll see what can be done.
I also think it a good idea to have a centralized map of where all the FOT and
other TR's are paddocked so we can find them quickly. Another thought would to
be a general indication of spares one has also. Certainly I will have some
Spitfire type pieces and could be a resource for another Spit jockey in need.

I have in the past set up with the motorhome at the top of the area Joe refers
to and have a generator, air and battery charging capability not to mention
cover and tools.

I have been trying to find out if anyone was doing a "50th" poster as TRF did
for the 40th reunion. It doesn't sound like TRF is doing one so does anyone
have some leads on this. At the 40th, TRF generously donated enough posters so
each TR driver went home with one signed by all the participating drivers.
It's a pretty neat memento of the historic event. If we need to do one I will
check into options if nobody else is. Plenty of time if we move in the near
future. Is anyone else interested in this?
Please let me know.

Russ

Oooops! Let me try that again. Brain Fart.

Thanks, Russ. This makes it easier. Can it be done under canopy in the
paddock, as you have done in the past?

FOT, there are some of us arriving early at Mid-Ohio and we are going to
tape off a generous area (permission granted by M-O) on the extreme east and
south area of the paddock. This is along the fenceline where it faces the
bathhouse (east) and the fenceline where trailers are stored (south). This
also puts us on course for easy trip to false grid.

It is also a short walk to the Honda Pavillion.

In some part of this area the Western Pennsylvania Triumphs are going to put
up a Hospitality Canopy...at last report

    Folks:
I am pleased to announce I have just confirmed with Bob Williams there
will be
a separate "courtesy" tech shed for Triumphs only at this event. This will
make the process much less painful for those with the featured marque. I
will
also help contain the oil spill, but that is a side benefit. Having been a
Tech inspector with SVRA for the past 6 years, Bob has put me in charge of
that part of the operation. If any of you have questions related to what
is
sought or not allowed please do not hesitate to contact me. There is
plenty of
time to correct almost any issue well before the event.
In short, I will do anything I can to assist those of you attending. If
you're
unfamiliar with SVRA and will be at the event, the main emphasis is on
safety
and preparation in compliance with period rules. If I don't have an
immediate
answer for a question I know where I can get it and will do so.

    Best regards
    Russ Moore
