I had min knurled, and it helped some, but the Lincoln is a lot more
foolproof.

My SIP MIG welder uses Argon and CO2. It runs on 220 Volts, single
phase.
I had a lot of trouble with the feed. I'd be welding and the drive
wheel
that moves the wire forward would slip and the feed was erratic. It was
very frustrating. So I ran some tests with more and more force between
the
drive wheel and the running wheel to give it more friction on the wire.
Since then, it runs like a TR. It ain't broke, so I leave it. Hasn't
been
a problem in a long time.
