Yeah, I'm going to do the same. I have the check valve and all the
necessary stuff. I plumbed it to the gallery on the other block--those
holes were huge. I presume they needed them big to drill at an angle and
later (or earlier--who can tell with the Brits) decided on a smaller,
angled hole. Next time I have the engine out I'll drill and tap a
connection, for now I'll go to the lines.

Bill, I have not tried that, and I agree that the original holes are
small.  If you still have the block apart you could re-drill the hole to a
larger size.  My Accusump connects to where the oil cooler line connects
to the adapter plate on the filter head where it then supplies the oil
journal.  I also installed a check valve in the cooler line to prevent it
from back feeding.  Joe(B)
