I actually lived in Ypsi ("the Y is pronounced like an I" !) in 1979, right
at the height of the auto lay-offs! It's been a long time and hopefully the
town has something better to show for it. My only suggestions are 1) a small
racing museum in Novi, MI that is good for an hour milling around in (Yes, the
famous Indy cars came from there) 2) anything they've left behind telling the
story of the River Run plant built incredibly large and fast to churn out
B-24s in WWII in numbers dwarfing the B-17, 3) have fun knocking around in Ann
Arbor (Go Blue!)
