Money corrupts everything. In the '60s, Formula 1 schlepped cars about on open
trailers and transporters, paddocked in the dirt. The flash of today is because
they can afford it. The whole thing has trickled down to vintage racing. The
vintage cars as raced today arrive and paddock in luxury only dreamed of by the
folks who actually campaigned them for real back when. Not a very accurate
reenactment of the period.
