Brad,
Mordy can sell you thinner gaskets to replace the figure 8's.  If you take 5 
or 10 off you'll be fine, but I think the real problem is finding somebody 
to do the job right. I don't think they can reference off the bottom of the 
block. If you do that, you end up with side to side error.
