HELLO FELLOWS,
        Two things on my mind;
1. I have been listening to all the talk about the throttle cable for over a
week now. I wanted to come forward immediately and say that RATCO makes a
throttle linkage kit with a push pull cable of aircraft quality and all the
bracketry and hardware required. It is designed for the TR4/TR6 engine
compartments and works with double Webers, Strombergs or SU's and triples of
the same brands. It does away with the bellcrank is infinitely adustable,
reduces peddle pressure, will work with ARE's heat shields and saves weight
as well. It is on the market for about 6 months and gets rave reviews from
its users. Why did I not come forward sooner with this information?? Well I
didn't want my association as a member to be seen as good way to sell your
wares. It is not let me assure you but I feel that I have something to offer
you guys and in this case I do. Other members of the FOT are business men who
cater to sports cars. They all help enrich our experience and that's all I
want to do. Look at the RATCO web site for more information on the Throttle
Linkage Kit. www.rat-co.com
2. Some thing more fun than the above. A customer has asked me to find a
reverse gear box for his project. He is a member of a club called "British Bus
Club" and they restore and run old British buses. He has a bus now which uses
a triumph engine and wants to change it to an International DT466 with an
Allison transmission. The British engines run clockwise and the transmission
needs a counter clockwise rotation. He claims that there is a company that
make reverse gearboxes for this problem Does any one of you know who that
company is?? Please let me know and I will forward the information to this
guy.

Regards,
Tony Vigliotti
