Thanks Bill I know the earlier version of the electric water pump had problems
as I had two and they both failed. The manufacturer says that newer version is
fail safe. Have one fitted to my TR2 turbo that is currently at the Dyno
waiting it's turn. My Dyno man said that he did not like them so we will see
how it goes. At idle the engine was running a bit hot maybe a problem with the
installation.

I'm always tempted to switch--the idea of no belt at all sounds good to me. I
know tony garmey runs one in the Costin Lister, you might ask him. He's a
