Amici...
No oil changing stories, but I once came close to pouring antifreeze into
cylinder head oil filler. Mike Belfer stopped me in time. In a non-auto
related story similar...I am fourteen inches taller than my wife, and at least
twice her weight. Hence, when we dance, I have no one to talk to. We
should have sold the movie rights to our doing projects together, like hanging
drywall on a ceiling. It would have paid for my racing career. But that
didn't stop us from doing stuff together. The 'oil changing sagas' reminds me
of when we would work together to fix a clogged kitchen sink. Me on the
ground, head and shoulders into the cupboard below the sink, Shirley standing
by
to fetch and pass tools as necessary (I don't get up and down real good).
I'd get the drain plug out. Drain the sink into a bucket. Pass the bucket
to Shirley.

I don't have to tell you that she poured it back in the sink. During the
surprise shower, I'd find new energy for getting up quickly. Then I'd try to
critique each of our efforts...but it's tough to do when she won't stop
laughing.
