Ellie and Hardy Prentice are here with the National Champion TR3 on display.
National Champion Sam Halkias is also here, spectating. We had great racing
weather today, 60's, mostly sunny, low humidity. For those who like me have
never been to Laguna Seca, YOU MUST GET HERE. This place rocks.
Some additional tidbits - Tony Garmey continues to amaze in the TR250K. A
great car, driven greatly. Mordy Dunst in his TR4 rocket sled is truly
dialed in. Paul Smock and the E ticket boys replaced the engine in his TR4
after Paul's crank broke at Buttonwillow. Tony Drews has the biggest smile
on his face when he came in after his first session. All of the drivers
here for the first time are getting faster and faster, and are really
enjoying themselves. John Nikas arranged dinner for all of the FOT plus
their families and crew this evening. No one left hungry or thirsty. There
have been some mechanical issues, only 1 seems terminal for this event.
