Hey Brian,
You can start over by deleting the lap-ini files on the
disk. If you look inside the directory or folder that holds
the file, you'll find several files by the same name, but
with different extensions. For isntance, let's say your
file is called "02040601", and you have 6 laps identified
for it. Then your disk will have these files on it:
02040601.GCD This is the actual data. DON'T ERASE THIS ONE!
02040601.INI This is the primary INI file. You probably
don't
want to erase this one, because it has some basic
stuff on your run in it, but if you do, it's easy to
re-do your settings, just like you do on every brand
new run.
02040601.001 This is the Lap 1 INI file.
02040601.002 This is the Lap 2 INI file.
etc These are the files to delete if you want to begin all
over on defining laps. In your case, Brian, you'll have
*.020 and up, since your system started there, but if you
happen to see any below that number, delete them too.
You can see and delete these files by using Windows
Explorer. Just doubleclick on My Computer, then Drive C:
(or whatever drive you are on), then the GEEZ folder, then
DATA folder. If you have the data in a different folder,
navigate to there instead. Once you see the files, you can
delete them by clicking them and hitting your delete key.
I would like to improve these parts of the program, both the
lapping features, and the lap management and run
management. I have several ideas for both areas that should
make things smoother and easier. In the mean time, doing it
through Windows Explorer reasonably easy.
Brian, do you have any idea how or why it did this lap 20
thing? I've never seen it happen before...Is there any
rhyme or reason to it that you could see? Do you have any
idea how to duplicate it?
