Hi Alan and All,

Eric Grunden who owns Absolutely British in Ontario California not only makes 
and sells the wooden, both thick and thin strips, beautifully done in quality 
white oak.  He also has made up as original the 1/4' x 28 TPI threaded 
inserts that have never, to my knowledge, been available. 

BTW I believe that the wooden strips were either done in Mahogany, as was the 
case in my BN1 or Oak, as I've seen on other cars.
