Hi Rich,
I made a pattern for my first BN7 MK2 off the fenders b/4 the body panels
went to the shop because I was afraid they would lose these holes.
>From leading edge of the fender = 4 1/2" back
>From fender bead edge = 11/16" out
I have never yet had a BN7 come to me w/ the top bow "cups". (How can you
lose something that big?) I make my own. The wood block is high enough so
that there is 1" from the top of the carpet to the top of the box/cup. The
top of the wood is level, which means the bottom must be trimmed to match
the floor panel. Just eyeballed this from the photos in the A/M book. So
far, no one has said that they are wrong...but the cars have not been
Concours judged.

inside that the carpet adheres to, and is it level or does the bottom slope?
