If by "original" you mean NOS ones with "Lucas" embossed on the top, British
Car Specialists told me they had at least one in stock but the price was
pretty high. It's possible that other suppliers (Hemphill, Healey Surgeons)
might
also have some NOS ones tucked away.
Apparently the problem with getting the later caps is that the sole supplier
of the caps has discontinued production indefinitely because their mold was no
longer usable. The one I found was serviceable but had been taken off a parts
car.
