I'm sure I will be flamed for this but in my opinion there is nothing 
"Unoriginal" with a Derrington Style Wheel.  They were a period accessory.  
Yes, not 
factory but still period correct.  Ditto the comments on Mike Lempert.  Not 
only an outstanding craftsman but a genuine good guy to know and deal with.  
Not 
many of them around these days.  Mike can fix you up with a complete package 
that will look outstanding.

Just for the record I had a "Derrington" Style Wheel on my two time Gold 
Concours BJ8 complete with the polished boss.  And Yes, Marion it was a 
restored 
wheel and boss not a reproduction.  Ha ha  Have to keep a bit of humor in these 
things you know!
