One of my personal favorites is Hwy 168 from Oasis, NV to BigPine, CA,
through the Westgaard Pass. Along the way you pass the Bristlecone pine forest
and the road itself is quite challenging.
One one of the last sharp turns heading west the backside of the Sierra Nevada
is revealed ... particularly stunning when there is some snow left on the
mountains.
Also, just about any road through Utah and northern Arizona and NM.
