Scott,

I believe this is rework and should be covered by the shop.  If this is 
the same shop that went forward with the incorrect carbs without enough
Healey knowledge  to recognize beforehand that these were clearly not 
fit for purpose on the car, I would drop them and find a confident shop.

Clearly the guy should have informed you the moment he looked at the 
carb numbers that there was a problem and these were the incorrect parts.

I would get the brakes fixed (on their nickle) and think twice about 
ever giving them work again.

You are not only being reasonable, but seem to have gone easy on them. 

What ever happened to quality and repeat customers??  This is much of 
the reason I do all my own work.
