You shop should fix this but they may refuse because the guy sounds
like an asshole.  If they do refuse to fix this, honestly it is a very
easy job for you.  I would consider it one of the routine maintenance
type things you should be able to do yourself.

All you have to do is get the anti-squeal shims, take the front wheels
off and squeeze the squeek shims between the brake pads and the
caliper pistons.  I can do the job in 10 minutes... alot faster than
it will probably take you to drive over to the garage, drop the car
off, and pick it up three days later when he gets to it.
