Yes, I did find the paint at a local PepBoys store. It looks great. I only
opened up one horn and I did not see the second set of contacts, just the ones
at the top. I was wondering if there were any electrical connections at the
bottom of the piston that moves up and down with the diapharme. I assume that
is where the other set of contacts is located? But the horn is working now so
I'll wait for it to go bad before taking it apart again.
I do need the little cheese head machine screw that holds the metal plate in
place that holds the wires from the wire harness into the back. Any chance you
have an extra old one lying around? Also, FYI, there is a source for the
larger cheese head screws that hold the horn together but you have to buy a
minimum order so I just cleaned up my old ones. If you want that information
let me know and I'll look for the web site for you.
