All healey disc brakes are supposed to have 'anti-squeek shims' on them.
Problem is many P.O.s and sunday mechanics remove these and throw them away
when changing brake pads, this is probably why your healey is squeeking.
The shim goes between the brake piston and the back of the disc brake pad.
Buy a set of anti-squeek shims (they are cheap) and your problem will go
away. They are very fast and easy to put on the brakes.
