I'm starting to feel like part of a small minority of owners still on their  
first engine. My BJ8 has logged many miles of faithful service. Oil pressure 
is  still good. Compression is still good. Blows a bit of oil past the valve 
guides  like it has for the past 27 years. I've owned the car since I was 19. 
Plan to  keep it till I die.
 
Considering a possible rebuild in the next decade or so just for  
preventative maintenance. Am I the last one left?
