Dave -

The day Biofuels become competitive in price and availability to crude
oil will be the day that the OPEC nations will make sure to drop the
price of oil down again to put every alternative fuel company out of
business like they did with shale oil, ethanol and Nuclear Power in
the 80's. The Saudi oil minister openly admits that they will
manipulate the price of oil to do this.

It's clear to me if we want to get away from buying oil from these
guys (and other wankers like Chavez in Venezuela) we have to get the
government to regulate our way to energy independence like Brazil has
done... I know "government regulation" strikes terror in the hearts of
most red blooded Americans (as it does for me too), but I'd rather the
US government get off its lazy ass and regulate and push us to fuel
independance than keep relying on the private sector to wield its
self-serving influence and ultimately keep us sending BILLIONS and
BILLIONS of $$$ to countries that support terrorism and communism.

As Bill O'Rielly says, stop buying from Exxon Mobile, they are money
leaches. Buy gas from BP if you can, they are the most agressive
energy company in the world looking to switch to non-oil based energy.
Besides, BP is British... what better fuel to put in your Healey!!

Cheers,

Alan
