I got one of the very last ones, and now have them on two of my three
Healeys (a BN2 and a BJ8), and in the event of a future sale of those cars,
their prices just went up!

Thanks Don L. and Jerry for the fast shipment of one of the last of the NOS
Texas Healey Koolers. The BJ8 is now running much cooler (kooler?) and
happier as the weather here in Oregon finally warms up.

alan,
if i remember correctly, the last time you ranted and raved on this subject,
it
finally came to light your bj8 had front end frame damage which you now seem
to
have conveniently forgotten. the tie bar which anchors through the frame "X"
member with it's rubber bushings ( personally, i use poly bushes ) is all
that
keeps that 750 lbs. of engine/transmission from moving forward upon braking.
  if
the tie bar is not secure or if the bushings are bad you will incur radiator
damage regardless of what kind of fan you use.
the primary reason i included the paragraph about inept installation is
because
i knew it would smoke out you and Don and give you both a chance to play the
blame game !! there is a couple of more out there that belong in your
MECHANICAL WIZARDS club-- I just don't remember their names.
cheers,
