I replaced my rear springs in my BJ8 about 8 years ago. The ride was
greatly improved. The thing that always bothered me after looking at cars
with new rear springs was the height it sat up in the rear. I took the
springs for mine to a spring shop and had them "stressed" so the car would
sit just a little lower. I like the look now. Years later I replaced the
front springs. The car really rides "like a new car" now.
