Replacing Windshield Glass, BN6

Hello Listers - My windscreen developed a mysterious
crack, apparently all by itself, so I amy replacing
the glass. Having removed the frame from the glass, I
find that the glazing seal I originally used is much
thinner that the roll I just got from Moss. I don't
think I'll be able to get it back together if I try to
use the thicker seal. Have any of you a source for a
thinner windshield glazing seal? Thanks - JRC
