Correct. No international licence is needed, but I highly recommend bringing
your passport (especially for getting back to the US).
Just remember that Transport Canada has reciprocity with the DOT in many
Canadian provinces and US States, meaning that a speeding-ticket or driving
infraction in either country will affect your licence and insurance the same
way.
